The Huckleberry Inn is a privately owned Victorian mansion built in 1891. The original owner was Lyman P. Jackson, who was the manager of The Hannibal Door & Sash Company. Over the past 130+ years it has been owned by other community-minded families who contributed to the development of the town. Today it is owned by Tina & Jeff Hardoin, who have completely refreshed the interior of the home and are living their lifelong dream of sharing it with others who appreciate the historic charm of bygone days. We are located in the Historic Maple District in the downtown heart of Hannibal. We are close to all the things you come here to enjoy - shopping, antiquing, restaurants, hiking, the river, art museums, annual festivals and local sites.

Although we try our best to make our property available to everyone, there are certain restrictions, in order to maintain its integrity and ensure a pleasant experience for all our guests.

*Please be aware that due to the historic nature of the property, the premises is not currently able to be ADA compliant. 

Parking is available on the public streets. We are not responsible for any damage or loss of property. Please lock your doors.

No children allowed under the age of 16.

No pets allowed. There are two cats who have already claimed this as their domain, although they are not allowed in the guest suites.

No drugs, smoking, vaping allowed on the property.

No loud "partying" allowed.

There are enforced Quiet Hours between 9pm and 8am.

Charges to your credit card will be made to repair/replace any damage to rooms or items in the home done during your stay. 

There are security cameras on the property in the common areas for everyone's safety.

We reserve the right to refuse service and/or cancel a reservation without a refund for any rude, dangerous, destructive behavior or the non-compliance of the stated rules of the house, at the discretion of the owners. Choosing to book with us constitutes an agreement with these terms. Thank you in advance.
